I-495 S At Springfield Interchange Closed Monday Night | News

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -- All lanes of I-495 south (Outer Loop of the Beltway) at the Springfield Interchange will be closed each night starting Monday through Wednesday at 9:30.  The road will be closed completely by 11 p.m., says the Virginia Department Of Transportation.

VDOT is closing the road for paving. Exit 57B, I-395 north will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 57A, I-95 south to Exit 166B, Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286/Old Route 7100) south. Drivers will follow signs to I-95 north/I-495 east, Outer Loop and I-395 north.

All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m.
